The world needs more people empowered with skills to ignite self healing and create healing conversations with others. The Wellness Specialist was born from this need to make skills affordable and accessible, whilst ensuring that the skills are internationally accepted.

The founder, Keshnie Mathi, has 13 years of experience in this field and still actively works in the area of support in palliative care, end of life, trauma and traumatic birth experiences. She has a extensive career in the corporate sphere as Learning & Development Manager for local and interational companies and integrates this knowledge into her continuous support set up for practitoners. 

Keshnie completed under Ungergraduate and Post Graduate qualifications at the University of Cape Town and is also a certified End of Life Doula, Birth Doula and Postpartum Doula. She also holds a ODETDP qualification (occupationally directed education, training and development practitioner) and is a SETA registered Assessor, Moderator and Skills Development Facilitator. Keshnie is also co founder of the Global Trauma Response Centre which offers free trauma debriefing to people globally.
