    General

    • The course date/s are fixed. Please ensure that you attend on the date/s you enrolled for.
    • No video recordings will be available after the course was presented. Please ensure that you attend the course and that your data/Wi-Fi is sufficient.
    • No additional session/s will be available to attend after these dates.
    • Complete the ENROLMENT form immediately after your payment reflects. Do not wait until the day of the webinar.
    • No refunds will be made for non-attendance.
    • Payments must appear in VideoLearn’s bank account at least 24 hours before course commencement.
    • Deadlines for payments: When paying online with Payfast the cut-off date is Friday 5 May at 12h00.
    • When paying EFT from your own Bank Account, the payment deadline is Thursday 4 May at 12h00.
    • When paying by EFT from your own bank account please send proof of payment to videolearn@technodezi.co.za indicating the correct reference used.
    • Course Notes must be downloaded prior to the course date. 
    • To receive a Certificate: Attend and complete Part 1 & Part 2 and the compulsory Assessment after Part 2.
    • Certificates will be emailed 7 business days after the assessment has been completed.
    • To receive SACE CPTD points:  You must be registered with SACE for CPTD points or be a 4th Year/final-year Education Student, attend and complete both Part 1 & Part 2, and score at least 75% for the compulsory Assessment after Part 2.

    Course Outcomes:

    Attendees will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of Dyslexia and methods to incorporate the dyslexic learner in their classroom.

    Outcome 1: Attendees will be able to identify possible Dyslexic learners in their classroom by applying various identification tools such as a symptom list and, IQ and/or distinguishing between Dyslexia and other learning difficulties.

    Outcome 2: Attendees will be able to implement tools in the Inclusive Classroom: they will be equipped to draw up a lesson plan/idea/concept for their class/subject that will include and accommodate the Dyslexic learner’s unique ability to perceive and process visual information.
