Description
We live in a time when lifestyle demands are very high in the form of stressors, deficient foods, fast pace and environmental toxins; accordingly lifestyle diseases are escalating by the year. The answer is not more pharmaceutical drugs but intelligent and informed self-care. The aim of these study units is to teach skills to the Wellness Counsellor (WC) to be able to guide clients to higher-level wellness in order to improve quality of life and support healing and prevention.
Here is exactly what we cover in this course:
In study unit 26.1 we will devote discussion to the management of stress and burnout which is so prevalent in society.
In study unit 26.2 teaching will be about Increasing the quality and length of life through wellness support with reference to healthy lifestyle principles.
In study unit 26.3 attention will be paid to ways to keep the physical body healthy in the context of disease challenges.
Learn how to manage stress and burnout. Learn how to coach clients. Learn tips of how to keep the liver healthy, prevent cancer, improve digestive health and manage sugar metabolism.
