Description
Boundaries without Guilt is a comprehensive 11-module CPD-aligned training programme designed to equip wellness practitioners with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to establish and maintain healthy boundaries in both personal and professional contexts. Grounded within the ASCHP wellness counselling scope, the course provides an in-depth exploration of boundary theory, ethical practice, and sustainable practice.
This programme moves beyond surface-level discussions and supports practitioners in developing clarity, self-awareness, and assertive communication skills. Emphasis is placed on ethical integrity, practitioner wellbeing, relational safety, and the development of boundaries that are both firm and compassionate. Through structured learning, reflection, and practical tools, participants are guided toward implementing boundaries without guilt, reactivity, or avoidance.
What you’ll learn
- By the end of this course, participants will be able to define and explain the concept of boundaries within both personal and professional contexts, and differentiate between emotional, physical, relational, and professional boundaries. Participants will be able to identify common barriers that make boundary setting difficult, including emotional, relational, and cultural factors, and demonstrate and understanding of healthy boundaries in practice within the ASCHP wellness counselling scope. The course further aims to enable participants to apply assertive communication strategies in order to express boundaries clearly and respectfully, while analyzing the relationship between boundaries, self-respect, and self-worth. Participants will also be able to recognize the psychological and health benefits associated with maintaining healthy boundaries, develop sustainable and ethical boundary practices that support practitioner wellbeing and responsible service delivery, and utilise practical boundary scripts and structured reflective tools to strengthen ongoing personal and professional growth.
