Description
This study unit introduces the learner to the Spirit of God as the most forcible and also the most penetrative power in the universe: unseen, unheard, unfelt but experienced by the people of God:
He is the incomprehensible Person revealing God in creation and recreation, but who is not God the Father nor the human Saviour.
He is the Person bringing God’s voice to us, speaking to our innermost beings.
He brings to life those dead in their sinful lives, creating an eternal Temple of God.
He is the Helper who let the reborn saints grow to bear the fruit they were created for.
He gives gifts to the members of Christ’s universal body for edification and growth.
He is sensitive, can be hurt, and continuous resistance against him is unpardonable.
He is the Spirit of God, and later also the Spirit of Christ, and He want to be living in, and working through you and me!Here is exactly what we cover in this course:
In a blatantly materialist world, void of meaning, the message of the Holy Spirit is like fresh dew drops on the soul. People need to hear that the Spirit is real, that there is a world beyond the human senses inhabited by the Spirit of God. If we do not understand Him, we won’t be able to recognise Him.
