    In this module students are introduced to the pathology, the study of disease and its origins  from a wellness perspective.  The wellness method is not to treat disease, but to support the balance and functioning of the human body in such a way as to trigger the self-healing of the body. We also provide a broad overview of the development of medicine through the ages to give you perspective of where wellness fits in and what is its scope.

    29.1 Pathology from a wellness perspective

    In this module students are introduced to the pathology, the study of disease and its origins  from a wellness perspective.  The wellness method is not to treat disease, but to support the balance and functioning of the human body in such a way as to trigger the self-healing of the body. We also provide a broad overview of the development of medicine through the ages to give you perspective of where wellness fits in and what is its scope.

    29.2Counselling for stress and burnout

    In this interesting study unit we guide you through the health risks of stress, worry and anxiety and show you how natural medicine can support and reduce stress levels to bring healing and peace.

    29.3 Wellness support for dread diseases

    In this study unit you will learn more about the prognosis and treatment options for the most common dread diseases. We also cover perceptions of illness, bodymind factors in disease and perceptions of illness and in the last sector attention is devoted to beliefs and ideas about illness, attitudes towards disease and emotional support.
