Description
The aim is to provide the wellness practitioner with the skilled competence to render the necessary support to people in the holistic spectrum of wellbeing.
Here is exactly what we cover in this course:
- The wellness counsellor makes use of psychology as behavioural science but applies it in wellness perspective. In this study unit the relation between wellness and psychology is discussed and the work of the wellness counsellor is demarcated as primary healthcare.
- Furthermore we provide a discussion of a natural way to provide support for specific challenges such as the so-called 4-A conditions.
- In the physical wellness study unit we look at longevity as a way to support quality existence with reference to factors that accelerate premature ageing such as lifestyle and genetic factors.
