    Anyone interested in Dyslexia may take this course. It is accredited by the South African Council for Educators (SACE). Teachers and 4th-year Education Students earn 5 CPTD points after completion of the Course and the Assessment.

    Duration: ± 1h45min (you do not have to complete it in one session. You may pause, stop, log out, and log in again until you have completed it).
    Assessment duration: ± 10-15 minutes (multiple choice). You may use your Course Notes to complete. There is only one assessment. 
    Total Duration: ± 2hours (including the Assessment).
    Course Notes: You will be prompted to download it after your payment was made.
    Certificate: This Will be emailed to you within 7 business days after completion of the Assessment.
    Payment: Payments are made after you have registered on the site. You will be able to pay with PayFast, by card, or EFT.

    PLEASE NOTE: This course is only available for 30 DAYS after the date of course enrolment. Once purchased, please ensure that you complete the videos as well as the Assessment within 30 days.

    Here is exactly what we cover in this course:

    In this course, you will gain an in-depth knowledge of the causes of Dyslexia, how they perceive and process information, and methods to accommodate the dyslexic learner in the classroom.

    You will be able to identify possible Dyslexic learners in your classroom by applying various identification tools such as a symptom list and/or distinguishing between Dyslexia and other learning difficulties.

    You will be equipped to implement tools in the Inclusive Classroom and draw up a lesson for your class/subject to accommodate the Dyslexic learner’s unique ability to perceive and process visual information.
